You at the controls
A trial flight is your first real flying lesson. After a thorough briefing you fly the Cessna 172 yourself over eastern Switzerland, with your instructor right next to you. No experience needed, just curiosity.

On the ground we explain the cockpit, the instruments and how the controls work, and what to expect in the air.
Together you walk around the Cessna: control surfaces, fuel, oil, tyres. Just as pilots do before every flight.
Taxi to the runway, engine check, take-off clearance and up above the Rhine valley.
At a safe altitude the controls are yours: straight and level, turns, climbing and descending. You immediately feel how the aircraft responds, and you learn to keep an eye on the airspace.
Back to Bad Ragaz, approach over the valley and landing. Your instructor is on the controls with you at all times.
How did it feel? We share impressions and, if you like, show you the steps to your own licence.
Directly for yourself: tell us your preferred dates, pay at the airfield or by invoice, and we will get back to you with a date. Or as a voucher to give away. Already have a voucher? Add its number (for example F4F-SF-0012) to the remark.
Hooked? At the flight school we show you the way to your own licence, and the trial flight is the first step.
