Questions before take-off
What happens if the weather is bad?
We only fly when weather and visibility are right. The pilot decides on the day. If it does not work out, we move your flight to a new date free of charge. If someone on board feels unwell, we turn back and the flight can be repeated.
How many people can come along?
Up to 2 adults, or 1 adult with 2 children up to 12 years. The Cessna 172 has four seats, one of them belongs to the pilot.
Is there a weight limit?
A light aircraft can only carry a certain load: people, luggage and fuel all count together. Tell us the approximate weight of everyone flying when you book, and we will plan the route and fuel accordingly. If it gets tight, we will find a solution together.
Can children fly?
Yes, of course. Children up to 12 are included in the price, at most two together with one adult. For very young children, it is best to talk to us on the phone beforehand.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes and flat shoes. Sunglasses help, and you are welcome to bring a camera. In winter, add an extra layer. We provide the headset.
How long is a voucher valid?
12 months from the date of issue, the date is printed on the boarding pass. Everything else is in the voucher terms.
Can I give a sightseeing flight as someone’s first flight?
Yes. For the very first flight there is the sightseeing flight voucher with the «First flight» design on the boarding pass. You choose it in the shop with the voucher.
Where do we take off?
At Bad Ragaz airfield (LSZE), 7310 Bad Ragaz, on the border of St. Gallen and Graubünden. From Chur, Sargans, Landquart or Liechtenstein it is only a short drive. Allow a little more time than the flight itself: welcome, briefing and boarding are part of it. Directions
